February 22, 2021: The MINET SA company from Râmnicu Vâlcea, the largest manufacturer of nonwovens in Romania, launched the most modern production line in Southeast Europe for the manufacture of nonwovens used in construction and automotive industries. The production line has a capacity of 25,000,000 sqm / year and will require the employment and professional training of 25 new specialists for its operation.
The investment for the implementation of the new production line, which will manufacture 5,000 tons of non-woven textiles annually for construction and automotive industries, amounts to 6.5 million euros. Based on an innovative technology that involves the interweaving of discountinous fibers, the assembly of the production line was carried out in just five months by a team of 20 Minet engineers and technicians who integrated the top equipment from France, Belgium and Italy.
