ANUNȚ DE PRESĂ – DEMARARE PROIECT
MINET Nonwovens is on the verge of launching its groundbreaking production line for recycled plastics nonwoven, an innovative and advanced product that offers an eagerly anticipated alternative to polyurethane foam.
This line represents a pioneering development in the Romanian market, made possible through funding from the EEA Financial Mechanism 2014 - 2021 under the Norwegian program "SMEs Growth Programme - Green Industry Innovation, call 2020), with a focus on "Green Industry Innovation."
We have achieved several significant milestones in preparation for the launch:
- Completion of mechanical equipment assembly.
- Connection of utilities.
- Electrical power wiring and signal wiring.
- Adjustment and mechanical testing of equipment.
By introducing the 100% recyclable plastic non-woven product into the MINET Nonwovens range, we are not only expanding our portfolio but also striving for higher quality standards. This move represents a substantial step towards building a more sustainable business and creating a greener world.
We have established a precise method of transforming plastic waste into a material ready for its second life, bringing immense utility. Our estimations indicate that approximately 80% of the raw materials processed on this production line will consist of plastic waste. Moreover, we anticipate a reduction of 5780.8 tons of CO2 emissions by 2026.
We are delighted to support our partners who require this essential raw material, and we eagerly anticipate a promising future as we approach the actual start of production.
